Gold price hikes up and sets the record of 61000

Gold price at five years high and set the record of Rs.61000 per tola. The clear indication of the rising US dollar in an international market has created a benchmark impact on price of gold in Nepal.

Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rate of Nepali rupee at Rs.113.80 per US dollar. It rises from Rs.111.94 per US dollar on Jan 1, 2019, to Rs.113.80. The improvement in the price of US dollar from a dip down 111.94 to 113.80 created a benevolent impact in the gold price.

Gold price moves forward even in the international market. Gold price shot up from plunging $1201 to $1291. The interval between this period is about 2 and a half month.

The silver price also leaps forward between this interval. In Nepal, the price of silver moderately changed from 700 per tola to soaring Rs.765 per tola till today.  Meanwhile, in the international market, there is slight change in silver price from $14.65 per tola on Dec 21, 2018, to $15.66 per tola till today.

Talking about National market per Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Association, the rate of gold price started hiking from Rs.57400 on Mangshir 17,2075 to Rs.61000 till today. The graph is clearly indicating that price is in an upward trend and soar up for upcoming days.
